Get Outside! Weekly Walks in July

Fridays, 7/9-30, 2021, Location varies by week | Join Michaelle on Friday’s at 10am starting for a weekly walk. Each week, we will meet at a different location (click title for details). You can attend one walk or all four! Let’s get moving and take in some fresh air together. Please bring a water bottle and comfortable walking shoes.

July 9th - Egg Harbor Township Nature Reserve: Meet in the parking lot at 10am. We will walk the 1.9 mile loop around the lake. This trail is rated as easy. Please bring a bottle of water and walking shoes/hiking boots. Address: 317 Zion Rd. Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234  

July 16th - Ventnor Boardwalk: Meet at the Ventnor Library parking lot at 10am. We will walk along the boardwalk with an option to walk along the beach. Please bring a bottle of water and walking shoes. Address: 6500 Atlantic Avenue, Ventnor City, NJ 08406  

July 23rd- Birch Grove Park: Meet in the parking lot at 10am. We will walk the 1.5 mile loop. It is listed as a beginner’s trail. Please bring a bottle of water and walking shoes/hiking boots. Address: 1675 Burton Avenue, Northfield, NJ 08225  

July 30th - Edwin B Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge: Meet in the parking lot at 10am. We will walk the Leeds Eco- Trail (0.5-mile) and the Akers Woodland Trail (0.25-mile). This will be a shorter walk, but we will take our time and enjoy the nature around us. The trails are both rated easy. Please  a bottle of water and walking shoes/hiking boots.  Address: 800 Great Creek Road, Galloway, NJ 08205
