SILL: International Contemporary Poetry

Tuesdays, 2/6, 13, 20, & 27/2024, 1:30-2:30pm, Online via Zoom | In this course, we will read and discuss poems from around the world and think about how the poet's life and their nation's history enlarges the meanings of poems. Audio recordings will sometimes be played. The pervasive theme of dictators and oppression will be addressed.
