SILL: Tour of the Sara and Sam Schoffer Holocaust Resource Center at Stockton University
12/3/2021, 10:30am-12pm, Stockton University or Online via Zoom | Join the staff of the Sara and Sam Schoffer Holocaust Resource Center at Stockton University for a guided tour via Zoom or in-person. The exhibits in the Holocaust Resource Center will be explained. Registered participants will have the opportunity prior to the visit to see a short film (28 minutes) via a virtual link, There Were Good People Doing Extraordinary Deeds: Leo Ullman’s Story. A discussion about the film and the exhibition dedicated to rescuers during WWII will be included in the visit. Participants will learn about the “Writing as Witness Memoir Program” and highlights of the Holocaust Survivors of South Jersey Project will be shared. Strategies and techniques for teaching about the Holocaust and other genocides will be discussed. There will be a question and answer session included.
