Death Café

June 12, 2019, 3:00pm-5:00pm, Bay Avenue Community Center, 775 E Bay Avenue, Manahawkin | What is a Death Café? At a Death Café people gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss the taboo topic of death. The objective is to “increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives.” It is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. There is no intention of leading people to any conclusion, product or course of action. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counseling session.
