Unvaccinated COVID-19 Screening Process

campus in the Fall

All Stockton University employees who are unvaccinated* for COVID-19 or have  approved medical and/or religious exemptions will be required to report for a COVID-19 screening and routine testing every day they are scheduled to work on campus Monday through Friday.

All unvaccinated* students with approved medical and/or religious exemptions, will be required to report for a COVID-19 screening twice a week on days when they are on campus Monday through Friday.

* This includes employees/students who have not received a second dose of a two-dose vaccine or the single dose of a one-dose vaccine followed by two weeks.

Please review the COVID-19 screening process below:

Account Required for COVID-19 Screening

All students who are required to follow this COVID-19 screening process will need to create an account with the University’s testing vendor before arrival at the screening facility. Please create an account (use your Stockton email and a unique non-Stockton password). This account will be required at the screening facility, and students will receive test results through this account.

Galloway Campus

All students who are unvaccinated for COVID-19 with approved medical or religious exemption, will be required to report for COVID-19 screening twice a week on days they are on campus (Monday through Friday.)

The COVID-19 screening facility will be at the Pomona House (formerly Free to Be), located next to the intramural fields on Pomona Road/Route 575. A shuttle will be running to the Pomona house during screening hours.

Students should report to the screening facility, and swipe their student ID. The hours of the COVID-19 screening facility will be from 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday. Students must show up twice a week but may choose the days and times they wish to report.

At the screening facility, students will enter one of the temperature monitoring lines and complete a temperature check. Students with a recorded temperature above 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit (temperature threshold subject to change) or those who are randomly selected by the system will proceed to a designated area of the screening facility to receive a rapid COVID-19 test. The test uses the minimally invasive, more comfortable nasal swab (not the deep nasopharyngeal swab that may cause people to sneeze).

  • If a student tests negative for COVID-19 on the rapid test, the student will swipe their ID again to accept the computerized Health Pledge, which will also record the time of completion at the COVID-19 screening facility.
  • If a student tests positive for COVID-19 on the rapid test, the student will be required to swipe their ID again at the screening location to acknowledge their positive test, return to their vehicle/transport, leave campus immediately to begin quarantine, and wait to be contacted by the Office of Health Services for further instructions.

Atlantic City Campus

All students at the Atlantic City campus, including the Noyes Arts Garage, and who are unvaccinated for COVID-19 with approved medical and/or religious exemption, will follow the same process as described above for the Galloway campus, but the COVID-19 screening will take place in Room B115 (former AC campus store location) on the first floor of the residential complex. The hours of COVID-19 screening at the Atlantic City campus will be from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m, Monday through Friday.
