Unvaccinated COVID-19 Screening Process

campus in the Fall

All Stockton University employees who are unvaccinated* for COVID-19 or have  approved medical and/or religious exemptions will be required to report for a COVID-19 screening and routine testing, full details can be found below.

* This includes employees who have not received a second dose of a two-dose vaccine or the single dose of a one-dose vaccine followed by two weeks.

Please review the COVID-19 screening process below:

Effective Monday, 5/16/22

If you are taking summer courses and/or living on campus and not up to date on your COVID-19 vaccination or have an approved exemption, you will be prompted to complete an online screening process when logging into the GoStockton portal. You are no longer required to report in person for screening.

If you are up to date on your vaccinations and are:

  • symptomatic
  • tested positive for COVID
  • or have been instructed to quarantine

Please log into the GoStockton portal, and under the student life tab, click COVID-19 reporting and answer the survey indicating what best fits your situation.

If you are not taking summer courses or living on campus, please contact your primary care physician or local Urgent Care with any COVID-19 concerns. You are not required to report these through the portal to the University.

Account Required for COVID-19 Screening

All employees who are required to follow this COVID-19 screening process will need to create an account with the University’s testing vendor before arrival at the screening facility. Please create an account (use your Stockton email and a unique non-Stockton password). This account will be required at the screening facility, and employees will receive test results through this account.

Galloway Campus

All employees who work at the Galloway campus and who are unvaccinated for COVID-19 or have approved medical and/or religious exemption, are required to report to the screening facility for COVID-19 screening. The COVID-19 screening facility is located at the Pomona House, located next to the intramural fields on Pomona Road/Route 575.

Starting Monday, May 16, the screening facility will only be open every Monday and Tuesday between 5 a.m. and 7 p.m. You must report to a screening center, either Monday or Tuesday during any of the hours of operation, to be tested. You do not need to report for screening both days, only once per week for your COVID-19 test.

Employees should park at, or take the shuttle to, the screening facility, enter the screening facility by their normal start time, and swipe their employee ID to record time of arrival. Employees in the Division of Facilities and Operations who are required to provide the daily COVID-19 screening and normally use a timeclock will instead utilize the timeclock installed at the screening facility to record the start of their shift.

The Office of Human Resources will assign a separate process/time for COVID-19 screening for employees who start a shift outside of those hours.

Atlantic City

All employees who work at the Atlantic City campus, including the Noyes Arts Garage, and who are unvaccinated for COVID-19 or have an approved medical and/or religious exemption, will follow the same process as described above for the Galloway campus, but the COVID-19 screening will take place in AC-224-N in the John F. Scarpa Academic Center. The hours of COVID-19 screening at the Atlantic City campus will be from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m, Monday and Tuesday.

The Office of Human Resources will assign a separate process/time for COVID-19 health screening for employees who start a shift outside of those hours.

Additional Work Locations

Health screening stations are only available in Galloway and Atlantic City. Those working or studying at Hammonton, Manahawkin or Woodbine must complete their screenings at one of these two central locations.
