Fall Semester Check-In:

Below parents, students, and guests can find information about each specific check-in, unless they have been approved for athletics camp, early arrival, or late arrival.  Students will receive check-in information via their Stockton email in early August.  We strive to ensure that every student has a smooth move-in for the Fall semester.

All Housing Areas
Students will receive information via an e-newsletter in early August. First-Year Freshmen and Transfer students can expect move in dates around the weekend of Labor Day. Confirmed move in dates and times will be provided via the e-newsletter. Please see the opening e-newsletter for details on times and locations based on your housing location and how to sign up for a check in time.

Room assignments are posted in the Housing Application. To access your application visit the Stockton GoPortal and find the Housing Application link under the Student Life tab. Log into your Housing application for the upcoming Academic Year. Selecting the link titled "Occupancy and Roommate Information" will bring you to your assignment.

New students who completed their Housing Applications by the June 1st priority deadline can expect their assignments to be available in early July. Students applying for housing after June 1st will receive their assignments on a rolling basis.

Students can contact roommates through the Housing Portal.

Requests made via email to Housing Operations will be assessed, however the Office of Residential Life cannot make any guarantee of changes prior to arriving to campus. Students should plan to move into their designated spaces unless they are contacted with a room change offer.

Students requesting room changes after check-in/move-in must submit their request to their Graduate Coordinator after the first two (2) weeks.  Emergency room changes can be made on case-by-case basis during the first two (2) weeks if necessary.

In an effort to protect our students and comply with FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act), the Office of Residential Life or Housing Operations will not disclose directory information except to students of Stockton University.  Students may access their housing directory information via the GoStockton Portal under the Student Life tab.

Mattresses are 36"x80"; also called extra-long twin.

Residential students are responsible for maintaining renter's and liability insurance as the resident chooses.  The University shall have no responsibility for the personal possessions of the student.
All residential students must have their immunizations up to date and on file at Health Services upon move-in.  If immunizations are not up-to-date the student may not be able to move-in.
Students can find the Guide to Residential Life online. Students must be familiar with all practices found within that document.
All residential students who live on the Galloway campus will receive a mailbox.  Students in Atlantic City will be provided specific instructions on how to receive mail at the Atlantic City residential complex.

Students are not permitted to bring loft kits as every bed is adjustable.  All beds are Twin XL, which measure 36" x 80".  There is up to 30 inches of space under the bed for students to store items.

Every residential room will be inspected by a staff member and a room condition form will be completed prior to students moving in. If there are room concerns, students should email housing@stockton.edu with a description and pictures of the concern within 72 hours of arriving to campus.
