Civility in Government - The William J. Hughes Center for Public Policy at The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in cooperation with Camden County College, presented a discussion on Civility in Government on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. in Stockton’s Alton Auditorium. Participants at Camden County College were able to view and participate in the discussion via a simulcast of the topic from the Forum in the Civic Center in Camden County College’s at Blackwood. Matthew McHugh (D), former Member of Congress from NY and Mickey Edwards ( R) , former Member from Oklahoma, led a discussion on the lack of civility in government and how it is affecting the democratic process. The event was moderated by Dr. David L. Carr, Provost and Executive Vice President at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.
