Small Business Technology Panel

Galloway, NJThe Lloyd D. Levenson Institute of Gaming, Hospitality & Tourism, along with the Retail, Hospitality & Tourism Talent Network and the New Jersey Small Business Development Center will host a Small Business Technology Panel on from 8:30-11:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 1, 2018 in the Board of Trustees room in the Campus Center.

The event will focus on how South Jersey’s small businesses are dealing with dramatic technological changes in the way business is handled and how they are adapting to the digital revolution.

Panelists will cover fast-moving tech trends for retail, hospitality and tourism, including:

• Mobile e-commerce
• Cloud Computing
• Artificial Intelligence (AI) / robotics
• Customer Platforms / the digital storefront
• Other emerging trends

"Technology trends present a major opportunity for businesses in the retail, hospitality and tourism industry to reach more customers, operate more efficiently, and strengthen the South Jersey economy," said Stacy Forman, Director of the Retail, Hospitality and Tourism Talent Network at Stockton. "Learning from experts on the Small Business Technology Panel helps us to improve the way we do business, and supports our goal to strengthen the industry's workforce."
