Stockton to Host Screenwriting Workshop
Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University's School of General Studies will offer a screenwriting workshop from 6 - 8 p.m., every Tuesday from June 5 through July 10.
The screenwriting workshop brings writers together with one desire in mind: to each write a successful cinematic story. New script ideas and works-in-progress are both welcome.
Classes will be held in West Quad 201 on Stockton’s Main Campus, 101 Vera King Farris Drive Galloway, N.J. The course will be taught by Professor of Screenwriting and Media Production Robert Steele.
Attendees will learn the fundamentals and craft of screenwriting. In this supportive workshop environment, the instructor will offer helpful criticism and encouragement.
Writers should be prepared to write and rewrite weekly assignments, share work in class, and give and receive feedback.
The goal of the screenwriting workshop is to encourage and motivate participants to concentrate on writing an excellent feature-length screenplay. The intensive creative process is an opportunity for writers to set their work in motion.
Tuition is $150 per session. Visit stockton.edu/gens to enroll.
