Bay Atlantic Symphony Featuring Lukáš Vondráček

Galloway, NJ The Bay Atlantic Symphony will perform selections by Elgar, Grieg and Beethoven at the Stockton University Performing Arts Center at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 18. A “Conversation with the Conductor” will be held in the L-Wing Art Gallery at 1:00 p.m.

Pieces to be performed are:  Elgar’s Salut d’amour, Grieg—Piano Concerto, Lukáš Vondráček, piano and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5Lukáš Vondráček

Both “Greeting of Love” by Sir Edward Elgar and Edvard Grieg’s Piano Concerto concerto were utterances of romantic passion and dreamy lyricism. Queen Elisabeth Competition grand prize winner Lukáš Vondráček is a musical sensation. The dream expands for all humanity in Ludwig van Beethoven’s transformation from desolation to triumph in Symphony No. 5.

Tickets are $33 and may be ordered online at stockton.edu/pac or by calling the Box Office at 609-652-9000. The Box Office is open Monday- Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 90 minutes before each performance.

The Stockton Performing Arts Center, the Jersey Shore’s Center for the Arts, is located on the campus of Stockton University, on Jimmie Leeds Road in Galloway. Just 12 miles west of Atlantic City, the Center is easily accessible from the Garden State Parkway and the Atlantic City Expressway.
