Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness Training

Galloway, N.J. – The Office of Continuing Studies at Stockton University will host Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness Training (MB-EAT) sessions throughout spring 2018. The sessions take place from 6-8:30 p.m. each Wednesday starting April 11 and running until June 27.Mindfulness Based Eating Awareness

The course will address mindless eating, stress-related eating and binge eating, while focusing on employing mindfulness meditation, eating exercises, didactic instruction and self-reflection into participants’ eating practices.

Instructor Corrine Kopp, MSW, LCSW will assist participants in cultivating mindful awareness and a more balanced and positive relationship to eating and weight.

Free information sessions will be held from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 21 and 12:30-1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 27 in Room F 204 at Stockton.

The cost of the 11 week training is $380. Those who attend an information session will receive a coupon code for $25 off their training. A Stockton discount rate is also available for alumni, students, faculty and staff.
