Event Description: Stockton University’s Kramer Hall will host the Highest Praise Gospel Choir Concert to celebrate Downtown Hammonton’s December Third Thursday. Members of the Stockton student-run choir will sing holiday selections under the direction of Minister Lonnie Smalls. Guests are welcome to enjoy the holiday songs and refreshments.

The Highest Praise Gospel Choir (HPGC) was founded as the Ebony Ensemble in 1982 by Stockton University Professor Beverly Vaughn, who was a first-year professor at the time. In its 35 years of existence, the choir has also been known as Ebony and Ivory and The Stockton Gospel Choir. The group's purpose is to "musically and socially enhance the college community and surrounding area through gospel singing as well as community service."

In addition to the concert, the monthly “Jammonton” will take place as part of Hammonton’s Third Thursday. The jam session invites musicians of all acoustic instruments and skill levels to play together.

Cost:  Free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
