“Eat, Drink and Be Scary” Third Thursday in Hammonton

What: Downtown Hammonton’s “Eat, Drink and Be Scary” Third Thursday Celebration

When: 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017

Where: Kramer Hall, 30 Front St., Hammonton, N.J. 08037

Event Description: Why buy a mask for Halloween when you can make your own? Kramer Hall will host a Scary Mask Making activity where guests can create and style their own mask. Guests will also learn about the history of masks as well as how they have become a tradition for the spooky holiday.

In addition, guests are welcome to enjoy and participate in “Jammonton,” a monthly, acoustic jam session where musicians of all skill levels can join in an impromptu jam session. All acoustic instruments are welcome!

Murphy Writing Center of Stockton University will also host their free, monthly write-in. No cost- just time to write. The session includes prompts and the option to share your writing.

Cost:  Free; Light refreshments will be served. Please consider bringing a nonperishable food item for the Fall Food Drive. All items collected at Kramer Hall will be distributed within the Town of Hammonton.
