Event Description: Research shows that the foods one eats play a powerful role in preventing and promoting ones risk for developing breast cancer. As October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, join Instructor of Health Sciences Anthony Dissen, MA, RDN for a talk on food and its influence on the risk for breast cancer. This workshop will provide information on how to emphasize foods that can be found in any grocery store to reduce the risk for breast cancer, the most common type of cancer in women.
