Galloway, NJ– After sell-out seasons in Europe and an extended debut run in Australia, Cirque Zuma
Zuma is ready to “wow” audiences in the U.S.! Many describe it as an African-style
Cirque du Soleil; such is the standard of the performers and the quality of the show’s
live musical score. Young and old alike will be dazzled by this exciting performance
set to tumble sault onto the stage of the Stockton Performing Arts Center at 4 p.m., Feb. 11.
African Acrobats International, Inc. has established the ultimate African Circus. The cradle of all cultures, the ultimate source for all music, dance and ritual for all humanity. The thought of this rich continent brings in mind at once mysticism, magic and excitement. The African Acrobats International, Inc. has something new to bring to the American Audiences: the allure of the African Circus.
Cirque Zuma Zuma features an array of never-before-seen talents mixed with some of the best skills associated with African variety arts. The group employs spot-on technical ability combined with acrobatics and street moves to thrilling effect.
The show is a fast-paced 80-minute program performed by six male and two female dancers to tunes from the likes of Kanye West, Michael Jackson, Coldplay, The Beatles, Robin Thicke, Usher, Queen, Justin Timberlake and more.
Performances will include different types of African culture, including: South African female vocalist, Limbo Dance, female dancers from Africa, South African gumboot dancers, amazing pole acts, Zuma Zuma Acrobats, chairs hand stand balance from Tanzania, comedy, Gabonese Tumblers, contortionists from Ethiopia, The Africa Africa Lion dance, percussionists from Zimbabwe, club and Ethiopian foot table juggling.

The Stockton Performing Arts Center, the Jersey Shore’s Center for the Arts, is located on the campus of Stockton University, on Jimmie Leeds Road in Galloway. Just 12 miles west of Atlantic City, the Center is easily accessible from the Garden State Parkway and the Atlantic City Expressway.
