Rarely does an audience get the chance to experience some of the best things in life,
together in one show. “Artrageous” is that show. It is an interactive art and music
extravaganza unlike anything audiences have experienced. Proof is in watching a performance
of “Artrageous” and participating in elements of the performance.
From the moment the audience enters the theater, the experience begins! On stage,
giant artworks materialize with amazing speed, unveiling larger-than-life art in just
moments. While that is happening, there is always activity on the stage. A three-ring
circus constantly delights the senses. The evening is filled with music and images
from Lennon to Elvis to Hendrix. “Artrageous” is a show for the entire family. The
show is not over when the curtain falls – the audience will enjoy continued interaction
with the performers as they leave the theater.
This program is made possible in part by funds from the New Jersey State Council
on the Arts/Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the
Arts and by funds from the National Endowment for the Arts.
For patrons with special needs, the theater offers wheelchair accessible seating,
large type programs and listening assistive devices. Please identify any needs you
may have when making a reservation.
The Stockton Performing Arts Center, the Jersey Shore’s Center for the Arts, is located
on the campus of Stockton University, on Jimmie Leeds Road in Galloway. Just 12 miles
west of Atlantic City, the Center is easily accessible from the Garden State Parkway
and the Atlantic City Expressway.
