Wellness Day 2025
Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University’s Wellness Center will host a day dedicated to relaxation, nourishment and connection starting at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 20, in the Campus Center Event Room.
This year’s theme for Wellness Day is R.E.S.T. – relax, eat, step out (of your comfort zone), and talk to someone.
RELAX: Faculty from the Integrative Health minor will host two hour-long guided relaxation activities: meditation will begin at 12:30 p.m. in CC Meeting Room 1, and chair yoga will begin at 1:30 p.m. in CC Meeting Room 2. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to try somatic breathing techniques, a rejuvenating medical/sports massage and assisted stretching.
EAT: A nutritionist will be available to answer questions while students sample nutritious food and enjoy a healthy lunch.
STEP OUT: Participating students are encouraged to bring a friend and explore community resources to step out of their comfort zone. More activities will include henna painting, a plant sale and even vaccines available on-site.
TALK TO SOMEONE: Community vendors will be available for students to explore wellness resources, build peer connections and discover valuable support. Students will also have the opportunity to join an on-site NARCAN training to learn how to respond to opioid overdoses.
Attendees who complete their R.E.S.T. passport (participate in activities throughout the day) will be eligible for a chance to win an exciting relaxation-themed prize.
