Fall Choreography Project
Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University’s Dance program is back to present this year’s Fall Choreography Project for 7:30 p.m. performances from Thursday, Dec. 4 to 6, in Stockton’s Performing Arts Center.
A Stockton tradition, the annual project presents choreographic works created by the student dance makers themselves. Attending performances like this is an opportunity to experience the beginnings of the next generation of New Jersey dance artists.
Associate Professor of Dance Beau Hancock describes the project as “an incubator for creative talent.”
"Our Stockton Dance community is full of unique artistic voices, and this concert celebrates their growing artistry,” Hancock said. “Every year, I’m amazed by the students’ drive to create meaningful, imaginative dances and their ability to collaborate so thoughtfully in self-directed rehearsals. This performance captures the spirit of Stockton Dance—students taking the lead and exploring their craft."
