Oral History Best Practices & Procedures

Galloway, N.J. – Melissa Ziobro, director of Public History at Monmouth University, will host a “snack-and-learn” event centered on oral history starting at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27 in Lecture Room F-206.

This interactive workshop is geared towards those just starting in the field of oral history, though it will surely also serve as a stimulating refresher for more experienced practitioners.

In addition to her role as director at Monmouth, Ziobro serves as the curator of the university’s Bruce Springsteen Archives & Center for American Music and is the immediate past-president of Oral History in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Ziobro has conducted over 200 interviews over the past 20 years.

This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
