Third Thursday: ‘May the Farce Be With You’
Galloway, N.J. – Kramer Hall, 30 Front St., will host a free music parody workshop titled “May the Farce Be with You” from 6-8 p.m. March 21 as a part of Hammonton’s Third Thursday festivities. The program will be hosted by comedian Michelle Tomko, a four-time winner of the Atlantic City Nightlife Award for Best Comedian.
Tomko will be exploring how music adds to the world of comedy, referring to popular artists like “Weird Al” and Bo Burham, and attendees will learn how to write their own songs for celebratory events. Musical talent is not compulsory; Tomko encourages those interested to just come enjoy some lessons and laughs in a lighthearted, carefree setting. Refreshments will be provided.
Registration is required to attend. Register at StocktonKramerHall.eventbrite.com.
Tomko has performed in venues from New York to Oklahoma, and appears regularly in Atlantic City. She is currently in residence at Bourre A.C., and is a 2019 Ivoh Fellow.
