Santiago de Chile: Images Past and Present

Galloway, N.J. – Chile is often described as the “land of contrasts.” Explore Chile’s constant interplay between public art, such as graffiti, and global urban development at  a free, interactive lecture hosted by Stockton University Associate Professor of Spanish Arnaldo Cordero-Roman at 4 p.m. Oct. 3 at Stockton University at Manahawkin, 712 East Bay Ave.

This past March, Cordero-Roman participated in the XXIII International Congress of Hispanic Literature in Santiago de Chile. During his time in Chile, Cordero-Roman took many photos. At his lecture, he will present them, and will discuss how those images fuse the social, cultural, and graphic depictions of Chile.

Light refreshments will be provided. To register, call 609-626-6060.
