'Healthy Aging' Series
Galloway, N.J. – Stockton University at Manahawkin, 712 East Bay Ave., will host a four-week “Healthy Aging” series that educates participants about different geriatric topics. The series will be led by Visiting Assistant Professor of Nursing Dr. Cecilia Boyd and Accelerated Nursing students from her Psychosocial Nursing course.
Below are the programs. All begin at 2:30 p.m.
Mar. 21: Safe Chair Exercises, including blood pressure screening and diabetes education.
Mar. 28: Medication Adherence. Bring your medications for individual education.
Apr. 4: Depression & Aging, including how to manage loneliness
Apr. 11: Safety in the Home, including caregiver role stress.
All are free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided at each program.
