Stockton’s 10th Annual ‘Jersey Shorecast’

Galloway, N.J. - The Lloyd D. Levenson Institute of Gaming, Hospitality & Tourism (LIGHT) at Stockton University will host its 10th annual New Jersey Shorecast at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 15th at the Stockton Seaview Hotel & Golf Club.

Guest Speaker, Anthony Catanoso, Owner/President of Atlantic City’s Steel Pier will offer a brief commentary on his business, the preparations being made in anticipation of the 2018 tourism season and his expectations/predictions for the year ahead.

A panel of experts, drawn from Stockton University’s faculty and the region’s gaming, hospitality & tourism industries, will share insight on the gaming, hospitality and tourism industries’ performance in 2017, challenges and emerging trends for the region, and predicted impacts and outcomes for the 2018 season.

Panelists will be: Brian Tyrrell, associate professor of Hospitality and Tourism Management Studies at Stockton University; Michael Busler, professor of Business Studies at Stockton; Diane Wieland, director of the Cape May County Department of Tourism; Jim Wood, president & CEO, MEETAC; Jim Zeris, vice president of Hotel Sales, Tropicana Atlantic City; Michael Tidwell, director of Sales & Marketing, Stockton Seaview Hotel & Golf Club; and Rummy Pandit, executive director of the Lloyd D. Levenson Institute of Gaming, Hospitality & Tourism (LIGHT) of Stockton (Moderator).
