Female Victimization
ACROSS THE LIFESPAN

This one-day conference will bring together professionals, researchers, policy makers, parents, and volunteers from a wide variety of disciplines to discuss the female victimization across the life span. This multidisciplinary approach will focus on the victimization of girls, female adolescents, adult females, and elder females.  Presenters at the conference will highlight current practices and emerging issues on the nature and extent of sexual abuse, physical abuse and neglect, stalking, and human trafficking of females.  At the conclusion of the conference, participants will have a better understanding of the various forms of female victimization, improved recognition of the symptoms of abused females, successful intervention, treatment plans for abused females, and increased knowledge and strategies to prevent the victimization of females.
