Ray Williams ’74
Ray Williams helped organize a series of events commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the End of the Vietnam War hosted at Atlantic Cape Community College this past September.
James Sabol ’82
James Sabol, a certified teacher in New Jersey with standard licenses in four areas, recently earned his Certified Wildlife Biologist certification from The Wildlife Society. He has also been an active New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife Conservation Corps Volunteer for several years.
Brett Monia ’84
Dr. Brett Monia was awarded the 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Oligonucleotide Therapeutics Society (OTS), a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing academia and industry-based research.
Lori Smellegar Holdren ’87
Dr. Lori Smellegar Holdren, dean of General Education at the American College of Healthcare Sciences, was recently elected to serve as the Northwest Vice President of the American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges for two years, 2026-2027.
Amina Bey ’90
Amina Bey was elected to Newark’s City Council, becoming the first Muslim elected to the governing body in the state’s largest city. She serves Newark’s Central Ward and also works as the executive director of the nonprofit Newark Emergency Services for Families.
Tracey Medley ’94
Tracey Medley recently celebrated 25 years in business with Millennium Skate World in Camden, NJ. The roller-skating rink offers birthday parties, fundraisers, school STEM programs, adult skating and more.
Mario Formica ’96
Mario C. Formica was appointed as a New Jersey Casino Control commissioner by then-Gov. Phil Murphy and sworn into office on Aug. 4, 2025. He brings to the role his vast experience as a litigator and more than 20 years of hands-on experience from his prior employment in casino gaming operations.
Theodore Pugliese ’96
Ted Pugliese is proudly serving as the superintendent of the Somers Point School District. Recent accomplishments of his tenure include settling a four-year teachers’ contract, moving administrative offices and passing a $5.57 million referendum to create an independent preschool and maintain buildings. The district was named Most Improved District at the Joint Insurance Fund Holiday Dinner in December 2025.
Teresa Cirelli ’05
Teresa Cirelli recently began her dream job as Chief Development Officer for Seamen’s Society for Children and Families, a nonprofit organization for children in foster care. The job hits close to home for Cirelli. Her parents fostered through the same organization, leading to the adoption of her sister, Phylicia.
Erin Mercer ’08
Erin Mercer signed the final beam for installation at the new Belmont Park Race Track – set to open in 2026 – a milestone for New York. Mercer serves as Senior Manager in the Marketing Department of the New York Racing Association.
Tanoa Bettis ’10
Since graduating with her BSW in 2010, Tanoa Bettis has successfully built a mental health private practice, celebrating its 10-year business anniversary in 2026. She loves working with the community to increase awareness on issues impeding mental health and providing opportunities for individuals to get the assistance they need.
Jennifer Fitzgerald Bogdanoff ’11
Jennifer Fitzgerald Bogdanoff competed in the 2025 World Triathlon Championship Finals in Wollongong, Australia. She finished fourth in her age group in the Standard Aquabike race, and 20th in the Sprint Triathlon for the same group.
Stefan Schulz ’11
Stefan Schulz, co-founder of Orpical Technology Solutions, has been named to the prestigious NJBIZ Forty Under 40 Class of 2025. The program honors young professionals for their achievements, leadership and impact on New Jersey’s business community.
Erica Weiss ’14
Erica Weiss was recently promoted to Director of Advertising at Live! Casino & Hotel, where she was also selected as the organization’s Director of the Year for 2025

Carl Archut Jr. was promoted to Senior Director of Development for Regional Giving at the University of California, Davis
Kenny Gomez ’17
Kenny Gomez recently completed the 50th Marine Corps Marathon in Arlington, VA and Washington, D.C. He works full time as a Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) Case Manager, supporting veterans and their families in the community.
Vincent Palmieri ’19
Vince Palmieri serves as a land use planner in Brick, NJ. Over the past year, he has worked on several meaningful sustainability projects across the state. He also earned a collaborative award for Outstanding Community Engagement from the New Jersey Chapter of the American Planning Association for his work with the City of Camden.
Jordyn (Neff) Kruzinski ’24
Following graduation, Jordyn Kruzinski got married and moved to California, where she began a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy program.
Dylan Veit ’24
Dylan Veit graduated with a degree in French Language and Culture Studies, then spent another year living in France as an English Teaching Assistant, where he taught English and made wonderful friends and memories.
Gianna Koulas ’25
Gianna Koulas started working as a Park Ranger at Yellowstone National Park immediately following her graduation from Stockton.

A Walter ’81 & Andrea (Gunther) Cuje
Walter met his future wife Andrea at Stockton in 1981. They were married in 1985 and recently celebrated their 40th anniversary.
Travis Marra ’14 & Stacey Marra ’12, M.S. ’16
Stacey and Travis met in a Macroeconomics class at Stockton and quickly became friends. They began dating after graduating and married in 2022. They are parents to a 2-year-old son named Vincent and thank Stockton for bringing them together.
Miguel Echevarria ’20 & Emily Echevarria ’21
Miguel and Emily were engaged following graduation before both earning their master’s
degrees from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. They wed in 2022 and welcomed
their son, John, in 2024. Miguel works as a Technical Operations Engineer for DraftKings
Sportsbook.

Julio and Yarizell met while students at Stockton and were married on July 14, 2020.

Nora Rose Persia was born to Emily and Nick Persia on Oct. 15, 2025.
Stephanie Feldman ’18
Stephanie gave birth to a healthy baby boy in the fall of 2025, who may one day become
an Osprey!
