Stockton's MLK Day will be extending to a full week of programs during January 2018. We invite students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members to participate in the events January 15-20, 2018.

  • Monday, Jan 15 - 14th Annual MLK Day of Service 
  • Tuesday, Jan 16 - "Great American Icons" Art Exhibit  - 8:00am - 2:00pm - Galloway Campus Center
  • Wednesday, Jan 17 - "Tell Them We Are Rising" Film & Community Dialogue - 8:00pm - 10:00pm - Campus Center Room 5
  • Thursday, Jan 18 - Special Panel "Free Speech vs. Hate Speech: What's the Difference From a Student Perspective" - 9:00am - 11:00am in Campus Center Event Room
  • Friday, Jan 19 - Off-Campus Service Project with the Atlantic County Animal Shelter - 10:00am-1:00pm - Pleasantville, NJ
  • Saturday, Jan 20 - VITA Tax Preparer Certification Exam - 9:00am - 2:00pm - F Wing Classroom 222


Thank you to all the volunteers, project leaders, community partners, students, faculty, staff, administrators, and special guests who joined our celebration on Monday, January 15, 2018.  Stockton's 14th Annual MLK Day of Service was another successful day, hosting over 800 volunteers in 43 service projects, starting from 3 different locations (Galloway, Tuckerton and Hammonton).  Special thanks are in order for Atlantic City Mayor Gilliam, Atlantic County Sheriff Eric Scheffler, and N.J. Labor Commissioner Robert Asaro-Angelo from Gov. Murphy's Office who all attended and spoke during our opening celebration of Dr. King.  For additional information please visit our press release:
