Add Parents / Proxy Access

Students can manage who has access to view their educational information by adding a proxy user. 

Steps to add a new proxy:

  1. Log into the Proxy Management System:

    Log into the Proxy Management system using your goPortal credentials.

  2. Add new Proxy user:

    Your current proxy users will be listed here. In the upper right-hand corner click “Add New” then Enter proxy information
  3. Complete Proxy details and create a Passphrase:

    Complete the Proxy Information form by entering the proxy’s contact details, selecting their relationship, and setting the start and stop dates for access.

    Choose a passphrase. The description is a hint for the passphrase (similar to password hints).
  4. Choose an authorization level:

    Select the specific items a proxy is authorized to view, such as grades, transcripts, or tax notifications, before submitting the form.
     
  5. Submit the form to Notify your Proxy:

    Your proxy will be sent an email, but please contact them directly so they know to watch for it. If they don’t see it in their inbox, they should also check their junk or spam folder.
