Master of Arts in Criminal Justice & Master of Social Work Dual Master’s Degree

This dual graduate option allows students to efficiently expand their professional credentials, deepen interdisciplinary expertise, and broaden career opportunities across social work and criminal justice fields.
In addition to new applicants, graduates and current students of the Stockton University Master of Social Work (MSW) program have the opportunity to enroll in an accelerated, abridged Master of Arts in Criminal Justice (MACJ) program. Likewise, graduates and current students of the MACJ program may pursue an abridged MSW pathway.
This dual graduate option provides a cost-effective and time-efficient way to earn a second master’s degree. Students benefit from a reduced number of required credits, making the second degree more affordable and allowing completion in as little as one additional year of full-time study or two years of part-time study. The program also does not require the GRE for admission.
By streamlining the path and reducing the total courseload between these complementary disciplines, the dual-degree option enables graduates to expand their professional credentials, deepen interdisciplinary expertise, and broaden career opportunities across social work and criminal justice fields.
