Graduate Application Fee Waivers

The Office of Graduate Admissions will waive the $50 application fee for applicants who are participants of the eligible programs listed below.  Application Fees that have already been paid cannot be refunded. To a request a fee waiver please email gradschool@stockton.edu.

Applicants applying to a program that requires an additional centralized application system (CSDCAS, OTCAS, or PTCAS) must contact that centralized application system directly to request an application fee waiver.

The Office of Graduate Admissions will consider a fee waiver for only one program per applicant per term.

Please note that waivers are only for U.S. citizens or permanent residents and not available for international applicants.  


Types of Fee Waivers

Auschwitz Institute alumni applying to the Genocide Prevention Certificate of Graduate Study program only need to fill out the online application and submit the graduate essay and resume. All other application requirements including the fee are waived.

Students/alumni of an Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) either at Stockton or other participating NJ colleges/universities are able to request an application fee waiver. Send an email to gradschool@stockton.edu with the subject line “Financial Fee Waiver Request." In the body of the message, include your name, graduate program of interest, and attach supporting documents that verify your completion of an EOF program.

Fee waivers (including the application fee and the acceptance deposit) are waived to applicants who are veterans or are currently serving in the U.S. Military.  Send an email to gradschool@stockton.edu with the subject line “Financial Fee Waiver Request." In the body of the message, include your name, graduate program of interest, and attach supporting documents that verify military service (copy of military ID card, VA issued ID card for health care, Veterans ID card, veterans designation on driver’s license, etc.). 

Stockton University is committed to providing support for the McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program and will waive the application fee for McNair Scholars. Send an email to gradschool@stockton.edu with the subject line “Financial Fee Waiver Request." In the body of the message, include your name, graduate program of interest, and attach a signed letter from the McNair Scholars Director at your undergraduate institution.

In extenuating circumstances, the Office of Graduate Admissions will waive application fees to applicants who demonstrate financial need.  Send an email to gradschool@stockton.edu with the subject line “Financial Fee Waiver Request." In the body of the message, include your name, graduate program of interest, and an explanation of why you believe you are eligible for a financial fee waiver including a letter verifying your Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) or your Student Aid Report (SAR) (available from the FAFSA website).
