Open Public Records Act (OPRA)

The Open Public Records Act, N.J.S.A. 47:1 A-1, outlines the types of records that are open to the public and procedures for requesting such records. Stockton University in compliance with the Open Public Records Act (OPRA) hereby provides notice that all University records other than those identified by OPRA as exempt or as exceptions and therefore as confidential and privileged or as protected from disclosure by federal or other State law will be available to the public according to the procedure described on the Stockton Open Public Records Request Form.

The University prefers requests for records covered under OPRA be made by submitting a completed OPRA REQUEST FORM to Stockton University Attention: Custodian of Records, Office of General Counsel, 101 Vera King Farris Drive, Galloway, New Jersey 08205 or by e-mail to: OPRArequest@stockton.edu. Additional information about the Open Public Records Act is available at the New Jersey Government Records Council.
