Do you aspire to write more stylishly, prolifically, and with greater pleasure? In
the first half of this lively two-part Zoom masterclass with international writing
expert Helen Sword, we will explore some of the key elements that make for an engaging
research article or book, and you will test those principles against your own writing.
Workshop #2: Writing with Pleasure 5:00pm - 6:30pm
In the second half, you’ll learn how a strategic focus on writing with pleasure can
help you become a more productive and persuasive academic writer – not to mention
a happier human being.

Clearing the Decks

Clean out the mental and physical clutter that is preventing you from making and attaining your writing goals. Based on one of the steps in Leo Babauta’s Zen to Done, this workshop will help you define what is important, help you manage your inboxes, and get your workload to a manageable place and pace so you have space for your research and writing. This is an active workshop—the goal is for you to have a clear desk and inbox by the end of the workshop.
