President's Message
A Message from President Joe Bertolino
I’m honored to be here serving as Stockton’s sixth president. Heading into my second semester, I’m proud to be a member of this welcoming, caring and engaged community. I continue to be impressed by the determination and passion of our Ospreys.
This edition of the Stockton Now ezine highlights just a few of our amazing students and alumni. Like DJ Campbell, a senior and star of the men’s basketball team, who shares his story of moving to the U.S. from Jamaica and discovering his passion for the sport. And Trey Brasher, a 2020 grad from the Liberal Studies program who’s pursuing a Ph.D. at UC-Davis, researching pharmacology to hopefully one day treat Parkinson’s.
We’re also celebrating two faculty members, Donnetrice Allison and Aaron Moss, whose award-winning television pilot continues to gain traction despite the recent writers strike.
I encourage you to read these stories and more here, and stay connected with Stockton to learn all that is happening on campus. Start planning ahead for your next visit to the Performing Arts Center, or learn how you can become an alumni volunteer.
And you can stay connected with me by following me on Instagram, Facebook and X. I look forward to seeing you soon!
Go Ospreys!
President Joe
