1976

Stockton University Board of Trustees Secretary and City Shore Wealth Advisory Group Financial Advisor Michelle Lenzmeier Keates '76 was named to Forbes 2024 Best-In-State Wealth Management Teams list. Lenzmeier Keates received her B.A. in Studies in the Arts.


1978

David G. Brown '78, a political cartoonist for the Los Angeles Sentinel, had his work and thirty-year career highlighted in an interview with Downtown Los Angeles Weekly. Brown received his B.A. in Studies in the Arts.


1987

Dr. Lori Holdren '87 received a Distinguished Faculty Award for her work teaching undergraduate mathematics and graduate research writing. She received her B.S. in Mathematics. 


1996

Brian J. McBride '96 was officially appointed superintendent of Monroe Township School District. He had been serving as assistant superintendent since August and has two decades of experience in Monroe. McBride received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science.

Gregory M. Matuson '96 was officially named President & Chief Executive Officer of Sturdy Savings Bank. Matuson brings 22 years of experience as a knowledgeable and effective leader to the position. Matuson received his bachelor's degree in Business Studies from Stockton.


 1999

Gregory F. Brown '99 was officially promoted to partner at Kaufman Dolowich LLP, a leading national law firm. Brown is a litigator who focuses on professional liability, errors and omissions, insurance coverage, commercial, products liability and general liability litigation. Brown received his bachelor's degree in Economics.


Alumni Achievement Awards Highlight the Power of Community

Stockton University honored 10 of its outstanding graduates during the annual Alumni Achievement Awards on May 16. Nearly 200 guests celebrated the diverse accomplishments and contributions of the honorees to the university, their communities and professions.  

“We are proud to shine a spotlight on Stockton alumni making an impact throughout the region,” said Dan Nugent, Stockton’s vice president for University Advancement and executive director of the Stockton University Foundation. “These extraordinary Ospreys highlight the very best of Stockton and what we hope for all our students as they leave campus and head off to embark on their next chapters.”

2010

Meghan Steingall '10, a personal injury attorney with Laddey, Clark & Ryan, LLP, has been elevated to Partner. Steingall concentrates her practice in all areas of personal injury litigation. She received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science.


2013, 2016

Chukwuemeka '13 and Desiree Nnadi '16 opened the Mays Landing Grocery Outlet, where they serve as owners and operators. Both received bachelor’s degrees from Stockton — Chukwuemeka’s in Biology and Desiree’s in Criminal Justice.
