FAQ
Q. What details should I know about checking in and presenting?
A.
- Conference Check-In will occur from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Wednesday, June 4th at the conference information table in the lobby of the Stockton University Atlantic City Campus Academic Center, outside the Event Room. Check-in will remain available during conference sessions in the Academic Center for late arrivals.
- There is free Guest Wi-Fi access on Stockton’s Atlantic City campus. No logins or passwords are required.
- Presenters should arrive in their designated session room at least 10 minutes before the start of their session to save their presentations to the podium computer. The podium computers must be used for all presentations.
- All podium computers in the presentation rooms are Windows PCs.
- Use standard system fonts and embed all videos and media directly into presentations to avoid compatibility issues.
- The Presenter View feature is not available. Bring a printed or separate digital backup of your presentation notes, if needed.
- The display resolution is 1440x900.
- Clickers and pointers are available in all presentation rooms.
- The first and second presenters at each session will have important roles. The first presenter is its designated leader. They should announce the start of the session, time the presentations, and open the floor for questions at the appropriate time(s). Each presentation room will have signs that can be used to indicate to presenters when 5 minutes and 1 minute are left in their allotted time. Presenters are also encouraged to time themselves by leaving a timer running on their phone on the presentation podium. The second presenter will serve the role of timekeeper for the first presenter in each session.
- Presentations in all rooms will be shared via Zoom with online attendees who could not join us in person this year. Zoom will be launched remotely in the presentation rooms, so attendees will need only to share their screens. In addition to our host committee volunteers, anyone with knowledge of how Zoom works is welcome to help presenters share their screens with online viewers or address other technology issues.
- We will share paper copies of the conference’s Schedule at a Glance and Session Guide when you check-in. To help keep registration costs low, the Main Conference Program is available only online.
- Conference-provided drinks (E.g., coffee, tea, lemonade) will be available in the mornings and afternoons at the Tropicana before and after plenary sessions.
- If you have questions during the conference, please visit the Conference Welcome Table or look for a volunteer wearing a yellow volunteer lanyard.
