Echoes and Reflections:

Leaders in Holocaust Education

On Monday, October 27th, the Sara and Sam Schoffer Holocaust Resource Center hosted a free Echoes and Reflections workshop for middle and high school teachers. Shani Lourie, visiting Yad Vashem educator, presented updated and effective approaches to Holocaust education, along with educators Gail Rosenthal and Mary Johnson.

Educators in attendence were given the opportunity to share their own experiences and ask questions about how to approach teaching difficult topics. In addition, attendees were provided with new resource materials for teaching the Holocaust for grades 5-12, including the latest version of the Echoes and Reflections Teacher's Resource Guide
