Stockton Women’s Leadership Council Mission

Mission

The Stockton Women’s Leadership Council (SWLC) – a Stockton University Foundation initiative – is dedicated to empowerment and seeks to promote networking between students and the community. The SWLC offers a platform for professionals and students regardless of sex to build relationships, discuss relevant issues, experience mentorship and leadership opportunities, and provide events and programming through philanthropy. Through the Council’s initiatives, faculty, staff, alumni, friends and students will create a tradition of leadership that will have a sustainable impact at Stockton University and across our region.

Key Initiatives

• Mentoring Stockton students and recent alumni.
• Engage successful alumni and friends who are leaders in their field.
• Offer special programs and events on campus and in the community to discuss relevant issues.
• Provide opportunities for philanthropic giving to support students and programming.

As a member of the SWLC, you’ll join a dynamic group that seeks empower each other and students to become successful leaders and professionals. Members are encouraged to provide an annual gift for programmatic support and philanthropic initiatives.
