Your participation in the ceremony is voluntary. All graduates who plan to attend the Commencement Ceremonies must pre-order regalia (cap, gown, hood, and tassel). Information on how to pre-order regalia has been sent to the graduate's Stockton email address. There is no rehearsal for Commencement.

Graduates and guests should arrive no earlier than 45 minutes prior to their ceremony start time to avoid cross-over with other ceremonies. 

Do not forget your guest tickets and regalia (cap, gown, hood, and tassel).

All graduates and their guests will be required to complete the Stockton University COVID-19 Visitor Health Pledge prior to arrival to campus on the day of their assigned ceremony. 

All attendees and staff are expected to abide by the University Health and Safety Guidelines including but not limited to, providing their own face covering and wearing it in all public settings.   

Guest seating will be general admission in the bleachers.Guests will be seated individually or in householdtrios, six feet apart from other guests. 

Graduates will be assigned a seat number at the check-in. There will be no ceremony processional or recessional. Graduates will be seated observing 6ft physical distancing and are expected to wear a face covering, even when crossing the stage.

Graduates will pick up one diploma cover, hand name card to the reader at the podium, and walk across the stage. Graduates will stop for a photograph on stage with their mask on. Graduates will then have the option of temporarily removing their face covering when photographed at the candid photo station after exiting the stage.

Due to state mandated capacity limits for social events and limited turnover time between ceremonies, graduates and their guests will be asked to depart from campus following the ceremony.
