The University will supply an exhibit space approximately 8’ x 8’, including one table and two chairs.  Space is limited, but requests for additional space will be accommodated if possible. 

Table activities are confined to the space assigned, and walkways on the grounds must be kept clear.  Vendor displays and setups must be contained within the designated area.

As an educational and public outreach event, Coast Day is strictly apolitical.  The focus of exhibits must be on some subject related to the coastal zone, without inclusion of political action or commentary. 

Vendors must be aware that the primary audience of Coast Day is families, children, college students, and community members. Inappropriate vendors (such as but not limited to banks, insurance companies, or vendors of “adult” merchandise) will not be approved.

Aggressive solicitation methods or solicitation outside of assigned area is prohibited

Placing items against or affixing them to the walls/windows is prohibited.

In the event of inclement weather, Coast Day will be moved indoors into the academic building.  A final decision will be made 24 hours prior to the event.

Electricity is very limited and cannot be guaranteed.  Electrical needs must be requested in advance.

If you will need access to a water tap, or plan to bring a wet or messy activity, please let us know in the registration form.

Failure to comply with these conditions may result in cancellation of reservation without refund.
