How did you benefit from the Career Center?

Thanks to the Career Center, I obtained effective ways of communicating with potential employers but more importantly I was taught the appropriate ways to respond to a question during a job interview. With the guidance and assistance of the Career Center, I was able to tackle internship interviews with less anxiety and more confidence than before.

Why would you encourage a fellow student to go to the Career Center?

I would encourage fellow students to go to the Career Center because it’s crucial to practice and prepare before a job interview. Practice makes perfect and the more comfortable you get in an interview setting the higher chance you’ll get the job.

Was there a certain staff member at the Career Center that made an impact on your experience?

Dayna DeFiore

What resources at the Career Center did you find most helpful?

Mock Interview helped me the most at the Career Center in addition to proof reading the multiple drafts of resumes I submitted.

What are your career/professional goals?

Once I graduate, I plan to obtain my CPA license and continue working hard to become the very best professional accountant I can be. I would eventually like to return to Stockton University for my master’s in Forensic Accounting if that program does come to fruition.
