Tuition insurance provides students with an opportunity to reclaim tuition/fees and room/board in the unfortunate event they need to medically withdraw completely from courses in the term after the 100% refund drop date.*

What can tuition Insurance Cover?
Covered injury or illness such as mono or a severe head injury. Chronic illness such as diabetes or an auto-immune disorder. Mental health like depression, anxiety, and other conditions. And even loss of emloyment for a tuition payer depending on the plan.
A student who purchased Tuition insurance policy provided by GradGuard may submit a refund claim seeking up to 100% reimbursement for awarded claims related to health, mental health and death of a tuition payor.
A student may voluntarily elect to purchase insurance each term where the premium payment is seamlessly incorporated into the TouchNet payment process (or GradGuard website for non-TouchNet users).
Voluntarily electing the tuition insurance is required by the end of the drop/add period (week one of the term).
