1974

Jean Feldeisen ’74 had her poetry book "Not All Are Weeping" published by Main Street Rag Publishing Company. Feldeisen received her bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Religion from Stockton.


1979

Leigh Overton Boyd ’79 retired in May from a decades-long career in commercial real estate consulting. Now she is crossing off bucket-list items, including promoting her highly-rated book, "The Fire She Set," now available on audio at Audible.com


1982

Lisa Overton '82, is capitalizing on her eclectic background to build a site where people can commune with nature, eat farm-to-fork food, practice yoga and learn about the business of sustainable farming. Overton is a U.S. Navy veteran, certified yoga teacher, certified Kentucky Master Naturalist, member of the Organic Association of Kentucky (OAK) and member of Kentucky Proud, Homegrown by Heroes and Appalachia Proud.


1987

Dr. Lori Holdren '87, dean of General Education at the American College of Healthcare Sciences, received the Distinguished Faculty Award at the June 2023 college graduation ceremony. This award honors a faculty member who has excelled in service to ACHS, including, but not limited to, instructing and supporting students, conducting webinars, participating in curriculum development, excelling at the use of technology in classrooms, and participating in other academic activities that support the institution and its students and graduates. She received her B.S. in Mathematics from Stockton. 


1990

Allen Crawford ’90 had his book "A Wild Promise," highlighting the significance of the Endangered Species Act of 1973, published by Tin House Books. Crawford received his bachelor's degree in Visual Arts from Stockton.


1991

Eileen Oakes Muskett ’91 has been appointed Fox Rothschild’s Atlantic City Office Managing Partner. Muskett, also co-chair of the firm’s Product Liability & Mass Torts Group and nationwide Women’s Initiative, has extensive litigation practice. Oakes Muskett received her bachelor's degree in Business Studies from Stockton.

Howard Haughton '91, CEO of Eva's Village, Inc., a behavioral health and social service organization, joined the Bergen Community College Board of Trustees, taking the oath at their May 7, 2023 meeting. Haughton served as an elected member of the Englewood Public School District Board of Education and he currently serves as the board secretary for the Englewood Public Library. Haughton earned his A.A.S. from Bergen and a B.A. from Stockton University.


 2002

Bethann Crowell Lizzi '02 recently published her first book "Trauma Bonding: Escape the Control." After 4 years of teaching 8-12 grade, Lizzi went back to school for her RN degree, and subsequently earned her B.S. and Master's in Nursing degrees. Encountering patients who experienced trauma, as well as being a survivor herself, inspired Lizzi to write her first book. Lizzi received her bachelor's degree in Marine Science from Stockton.


2004

Erin Sharpe ’04, a Cedar Creek High School science teacher, was named Atlantic County Teacher of the Year by the New Jersey Department of Education. Sharpe received her bachelor's degree in Biology and teaching certification from Stockton.


2006

Lauren Vescio ’06 has been named a marketing manager at NJM Insurance. Vescio started with the company in 2019. As a marketing manager, she leads a team of specialists, spreads the word about NJM's business insurance products and coordinates agent relationships, events and social media activity. Vescio received bachelor's degrees in Business Studies and Communication Studies from Stockton.


2010

Detective Anthony Pompei ’10 received the 2022 Trooper of the Year Award from the New Jersey State Police for his work throughout Trenton and its surrounding areas. Pompei received his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Stockton.

Meghan L. Steingall '10, a personal injury attorney with Laddey, Clark & Ryan, LLP, has been elevated to partner, effective July 1, 2023. In addition to handling her own caseload, Steingall assists the Personal Injury team in trial preparation, specifically witness preparation. She is also a member of the firm’s Attorney Recruitment Committee, Summer Associate Committee and Health and Wellness Committee. Steingall holds a J.D. from Widener University School of Law. She graduated with a B.A., summa cum laude, from Stockton University.


2018

Bry’le Watson ’18 represented New Jersey in the 2023 Miss Black USA competition. The event was held on Aug. 6 in Washington, D.C. NJM's business insurance products and coordinates agent relationships, events and social media activity. Watson received a bachelor's degree in Studies in the Arts from Stockton.


2019

Rebecca Dietrich '10 had her debut chapbook titled “Scholar of the Arts and Inhumanities” published by Finishing Line Press on Nov. 17, 2023. Her poetry has been showcased in esteemed publications such as Plumwood Mountain Journal, Steam Ticket, and New Plains Review. he holds a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Holocaust & Genocide Studies from Stockton University.
