1993
Matthew Guterl ’93 became Brown University's Vice President of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion on March 1. Guterl teaches Africana and American Studies at Brown. He received his bachelor’s degree in Historical Studies from Stockton.
1995
JC Lore ’95 will visit India’s National Law University, Delhi (NLU Delhi) as a Fulbright Specialist next summer. He received his bachelor's degree in Political Science from Stockton.
1997
Stephen Peacock ’97 emceed and sang the National Anthem at the 2024 Mr. America bodybuilding competition. This was his third year as the event's emcee, and his singing debut. Peacock received his bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from Stockton.
1999
Stephanie Olivo ’99 has joined McCarter & English LLP, where she will advise corporate clients on compliance with the rules and regulations governing their participation in the civic process. Olivo received her bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Stockton.
2002
Margaret Gentile-Van Meter ’02 was elected to serve on the board of directors for Soroptimist International of the Americas, Inc. This global volunteer organization provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment. Gentile-Van Meter received her master's degree in Holocaust and Genocide Studies from Stockton.
2005
Debbie Franzese ’05 was recognized in the Hedge Fund Journal’s inaugural report “Private Markets: 50 Women Leaders 2024.” She received her bachelor's degree in Political Science from Stockton.
2013
Eric Anglero ’13 was named director of the University of Pennsylvania's LGBT Center. They received their bachelor's degree in Historical Studies and their master’s in American Studies, both from Stockton.
2018
Gabrielle Ward ’ 18, who worked alongside her father Kenny at Ship Bottom Brewery, decided to start their own business, Royal Bine Brewery. The brewery is set to open later this year in Absecon. Ward received her bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism and Event Management from Stockton.
2019
Rebecca Dietrich ’19 published her second poetry book, “The Last Lullaby,” with Bottlecap Press. Dietrich received her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Stockton.
Dr. Jake Grootenboer '19, '21 was named Clinical Director of the Clifton, NJ office of Professional Physical Therapy, where he works treating muscoloskeletal and post-operative conditions with a special interest in return to sport rehabilitation. Grootenboer earned his bachelor's degree in Health Science and his Doctor of Physical Therapy (2021) from Stockton.
2020
Sophia LoPresti ’20 serves in the Office of Governor Phil Murphy as Head of Briefing and an Aide to the Governor in the Operations Department. She is responsible for drafting briefing materials for the Governor’s daily operations, engagements and national conferences. She received her bachelor's degree in Historical Studies from Stockton.
