Need materials that aren’t available at Bjork Library? Reciprocal on-site borrowing lets you visit participating libraries and check out materials in-person.

Requirements

  1. Be in Good Standing at the Bjork Library

Users must have an active library account with no outstanding fines, blocks, or overdue materials.

  2. Be a current member of the Stockton community

Reciprocal borrowing privileges are only available to currently enrolled students and actively employed faculty and staff at Stockton University.

  3. Complete the required Authorization Form(s)

Users must fill out and submit the appropriate authorization forms before visiting a participating library.

  4. Receive Approval from the Bjork Library

All authorization forms must be reviewed and approved by Bjork Library staff before reciprocal borrowing privileges can be used at partner libraries.

Please note:

  • You must bring and present the approved application form along with a valid photo ID at the participating Host Library’s circulation desk.
  • You are responsible for the materials you borrow from the Host Library you visit and are required to adhere to their due dates, policies and/or any associated fines for late, lost, or damaged materials.
  • You are responsible to return the items to the Host Library from which they were borrowed. Your Home Library may or may not agree to return items to the Host Library; check with your Home Library to determine their policy.
