Student Advisory Board
The Student Advisory Board offers students a chance to advocate for their peers and collaborate with library staff to improve resources, spaces, and services.
The Richard E. Bjork Library’s Student Advisory Board consists of spirited student volunteers who are dedicated to improving the University library’s resources, spaces, and services.
The Board's mission is to involve students in library discussions and development. The advisory board consists of undergraduate and graduate students from various disciplines (School of Business, School of General Studies and Graduate Education, School of Social and Behavioral Sciences, School of Health Sciences, School of Arts and Humanities, School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, School of Education). These members act as advocates for the larger student body, representing different schools of thought and various perspectives.
Board Member Responsibilities
- Attend monthly board meetings (meeting schedules will be determined by member availability)
- Provide feedback to the library regarding current library services, spaces, resources, etc.
- Provide feedback about future library projects/plans
