Accessibility in the Library

We are dedicated to ensuring that our users have full access to resources and services.

Digital Accessibility

The Richard E. Bjork Library makes every effort to create, acquire, and provide resources in accessible formats following WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines.

The Library makes available millions of online resources that are hosted by external publishers. If you have accessibility concerns about any of our digital formats, please AskUs!

Physical Accessibility

The Library building is wheelchair accessible and has two elevators. Accessibile bathrooms are on all three floors. If you need assistance in the building, please contact or visit the Access Desk on the 100 level (609-652-4346) for support.

Library Services

  • The Access & Information Services Desk is available to assist in ways such as:
    • Finding and retrieving collection materials.
    • Searching for materials in an alternate format.
    • Conducting basic requests in the library catalog or online databases.
    • Printing, photocopying, and scanning.
    • Setting up a proxy borrower for your library account.
    • Locating spaces and services on campus.
  • The Subject Librarians can assist you with conducting your research in a more individualized setting, either in person or through Zoom. To schedule an appointment visit our librarians' page.
  • Interlibrary Loan requests may be delivered to you via unmediated processes. If delivered materials for your individual research do not meet your needs, please submit a Content Remediation Request form to request an alternative format.
