2025 Nurture NJ Leadership Summit: United for Change. Centered in Community
Over 3,000 Partners. United for Change. Centered in Community.
“The systems in New Jersey need to be transformed in order for the outcomes for mothers and infants to change.” – Nurture NJ Maternal and Infant Health Strategic Plan
Join us at the 2025 Nurture NJ Leadership Summit as we celebrate the power of the community we have built and chart our next steps forward!
Over the past eight years, Nurture NJ has grown a network of more than 3,000 partners across New Jersey, the nation, and the globe. This collective effort has driven remarkable progress - from launching the nation’s most robust universal nurse home visitation program, Family Connects NJ, to establishing the Maternal and Infant Health Innovation Authority, the only governmental agency of its kind.
Each year, the Summit brings our movement to life. In 2025, we will convene over 700 participants in person and many more virtually, representing voices and innovations from every corner of our network.
The 2025 Summit will focus on the critical importance of building trust and community. Participants will learn about approaches to foster a more collaborative and responsive approach to maternal health, break down silos, and explore best practices to community engagement to ensure that the voices of mothers, families, and caregivers shape the solutions to the maternal health crisis.
This Summit is more than a convening - it is the next step in a growing movement powered by 3,000+ Nurture NJ partners, fueled by innovation, and sustained by community voice. Together, we are building a future where every mother, baby, and family can thrive.
Thank you for being part of this community and this vital mission.

About Nurture NJ
Nurture NJ was launched in 2019 by First Lady Tammy Murphy to make New Jersey the safest, most
equitable state in the nation to deliver and raise a baby. Nurture NJ encompasses
the entire work of the Murphy Administration on maternal and infant health. In addition
to the Strategic Plan, Nurture NJ’s ongoing efforts include over 65 pieces of maternal
and infant health legislation signed by Governor Murphy, funding for groundbreaking
programs and policies, an annual Black Maternal and Infant Health Leadership Summit,
a Family Festival event series, and the development of a first-of-its-kind Maternal
and Infant Health Innovation Authority to continue the work beyond this administration.
