The Scheduling Assistant for NAMS, working with faculty Program, Coordinators, Directors and the Office of the Registrar in scheduling classes and classroom assignments for the Schedule of Courses. This position also provides support for outreach programming.

Elf Grant requisition and payment, consumable inventory, equipment inventory, Inventory Control Officer, ordering supplies for Marine Field Station and Marine Sciences.

Adriane is responsible for Academic Bulletin, Foundation Check Requests, development and publication of the Essential Elements e-zine, marketing materials [including videos], outreach inititiatives [Sciencepallooza], alumni relations, fundraising campaigns/initiatives, NAMS's social media and website content, and support for the Jersey Shore Science Fair [JSSF]. In addition, Adriane assists the Dean with regular recurring semester events, open house events and orientation.

Jennifer coordinates and monitors Special Project Request Forms for Independent Studies, Internships and Senior Projects. She is responsible for the ordering of office supplies, processes requisitions and follow up, and handles special order requests. 

In addition, Jennifer assists with Orientation, Registration and Commencement Program, assists with advertised faculty and adjunct positions, and acts as NAMS Administrative backup for re-evaluation for reappointment.

Yolanda handles the IDEA Administration, proposal and article preparation.

Safety Compliance & Training Officer, Chemical Hygiene Officer, Oversight of NAMS Laboratory Operations & Maintenance, Coordination of Emergency Response with Campus Police and Campus Health & Safety Officer.

Set up and break down upper level biology courses and lower level chemistry courses: Microbiology, Chemistry II, Chemistry for Life Sciences I & II, general lab maintenance, safety support, Vertere, etc.

 

Environmental Sciences Laboratory support

Set up and break down upper Biology courses and lower level Chemistry courses (Genetics, Chemistry I & IV), general lab maintenance, Safety Sheets, Lap Top Coordinator, Vetere, etc.

Science Facilities —Lab support, equipment repair, general lab maintenance.

Maple Syrup Grant Project

Ordering and receiving laboratories supplies, 
key boxes, chemistry student lockers, teaching assistants/graders for Chemistry & Biology, cylinder moves, Vertere, general lab maintenance. Please work with Eve for all general lab supply orders.

Evening laboratory support, B&E set up and break down.

Sustainable program and Sustainable Farm

Chemical preparation, assisting with laboratory preparation, Vetere, hazardous waste.

Set up/break down upper and lower level Biology courses and lower level Chemistry courses (C&M, assists with Chemistry IV, Chemistry for Life Science I & II), general lab maintenance, equipment support —YSI, Vertere, etc.
