The William J. Hughes Center for Public Policy at Stockton University and The Press of Atlantic City will co-sponsor an Oct. 24 debate between major-party candidates for the 2nd Congressional District race in the U.S. House of Representatives. The one-hour debate between Republican incumbent Jeff Van Drew and Democratic challenger Joe Salerno will be held at 6 p.m. on the Galloway campus. The debate will not have a live audience, but it will be livestreamed on the Hughes Center for Public Policy's YouTube page and on The Press’ website. Members of the public can submit potential questions for the candidates or email them to The Press of Atlantic City at newstips@pressofac.com. Alyssa Maurice, Director of Research and Polling at the Hughes Center for Public Policy, and Nicholas Huba of The Press will pose questions to the candidates and moderate.
