Research & Professional Development
The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs supports members of the Stockton Community in their scholarly, research and creative
activities.
Institutional Research is where data and reports regarding enrollment, degrees conferred, graduation, and
other special analyses are housed.
The Institutional Strategic Plan - also known as Strategic Plan 2025 Choosing Our Path, plays a crucial role in guiding Schools, programs, and units in connecting objectives
to the pillars of Inclusive Student Success; Diversity and Inclusion; Teaching and
Learning; Strategic Enrollment Management; Financial Sustainability; Campus Community,
Communication, and Shared Governance. The Institutional Strategic Plan may also align
with University-wide internal funding opportunities. By following the link provided
above, you can find a copy of the Institutional Strategic Plan.

Mentoring Program. It is the University's practice to assign a senior program member and a senior
faculty member from outside the program to new faculty to assist them in the transition
to the University and during the first number of years while on tenure track. The
Deans and the Director of the Institute for Faculty Development work together for
the new faculty mentoring program to assign mentors. Faculty external to the program
are assigned on such possible considerations as shared professional interests, country
of origin or similar social and cultural characteristics. A full explanation of the
Mentoring Program is provided in the SFT Memorandum of Agreement.
