Leadership Opportunities
Chi Alpha Epsilon was formed to recognize the academic achievements of college students in access and scholar programs, such as EOF. Its purposes are to:
- promote continued high academic standards
- foster increased communication among its members
- honor academic excellence achieved by those students
The Epsilon Tau Chapter at Stockton University strives to honor, promote, and encourage EOF students to strive for academic excellence. Eligible students may apply for membership by the established deadline.
Benefits of Membership
- Develop leadership skills and abilities
- List membership on resumes, job applications, and university admissions applications
- Opportunities to attend local and regional conferences
- Special recognition at Commencement
Eligibility
- Semester GPA of 3.0 or greater for spring and fall prior to the spring induction ceremony
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater
- Earned between 24 and 85 credits
- Maintain full-time registration (exceptions are permissible during a student’s final semester)
- Must be in good standing with EOF program requirements
Requirements
- Be an active member of Chi Alpha Epsilon
- Maintain a GPA of 3.0
- Maintain full-time registration (exceptions are permissible during a student’s final semester)
- Remain in good standing with EOF program requirements
- Engage in at least 20 hours of service-learning per semester
Application Process
Students interested in being considered for Chi Alpha Epsilon must do the following:
- Attend an information session.
- Submit a completed application, current resume, and a letter of recommendation from
a faculty member the established deadline.
- New members must attend a private induction ceremony.
